They recode most of the food this way they don't have to throw it out and it helps the GM Warren Minnix bonus. Speaking about Warren what a piece of garbage liar he is. He will tell you what ever you want to hear then stab you behind your back. He really doesn't know how to manage a store and just talks his way through any problem rather then fixing it.
